Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. (KTERC). KTERC is the first certified organic tea garden in Nepal that was established in 1984 by Mr. Deepak Prakash Baskota to rid his community of poverty. It remains a model social enterprise still today, that runs on cooperative infrastructure and is truly focused on the people and planet before profit.
The production process of our green tea, Kanchanjangha Verde, is used in this blend. All of the other ingredients in this green tea blend are also produced in Nepal and in our own farm by our local farmers.
The idea for these green tea came when we were opening our first tea bar in Nepal and wanted to experiment with tea blending which was not a common thing in Nepal until even a few years ago.
